Music is among the greatest motivators... whether you're working out, just working or just having fun... having the right music can determine how much we love what we are doing.

Music can put you into your "zone", makes you desire to move, and boosts your mood.

Why do we like music? Every generation has its own answer. Regardless of the answers both generations agree that it affects their health. It is accomplished in a variety of ways... such as emotions, and reminiscing.

Maybe you've had a bad day, and you're laying on your couch with your headphones plugged in playing the new release from your favorite artist or you're working out.

Music can provide a respite from fatigue and pain to the point that you do not dislike that stitch on your side! It can elevate your mood and increase endurance. A song that is upbeat can motivate you to work harder to make the time spent working out appear as if it went by in a flash.

There's nothing better than listening to the theme from Rocky (Gonna Fly Now) and AC/DC's Your Have Shook My Body The All Night Long or Survivor's Eye of the Tiger to make you feel pumped!

While doing yoga or studying what about a quieter playlist, songs such as Yellow by Coldplay as well as Mix it up by Bob Marley?
