A huge responsibility lies upon the shoulders of each worship leader around the globe because the presence of God in a church meeting depends on it, and the fate of members of the church depend on it. If worship is conducted in a manner that God is not present and minister in a meeting that is in the midst of tragedy or catastrophe will leave church exactly the way they entered it and miss an chance for them to receive the blessings of God. It is time for us to get serious about the most fundamental aspect of worship in the presence of the Lord. For worship in the Lord's house to differ from others, I believe its time we did things differently.

I share ten reasons why you must do praise and worship the correct way.

1. Man was created for worship and praise, not only for Sundays and on a regular basis. The reason that a lot of people do not have a divine encounter when they worship on a Sunday morning is because they do not practice it at home. Thus, they do not have an intimacy relationship with God even being decent Christians.

2. Worship is more in line with the one who is giving it and his vertical relationship with the one who worships (Jehovah God).

3. Everyone can sing songs that speak about God, but it takes a specific connection with God to be able to experience the presence of God through the process of worship.

4. Sometimes you praise from an overflow, however other times you may have to make a sacrifice in praise. David declares the following in Psalms: "I will bless the Lord at all times"! There is no need to be adamant about it when you begin when you begin with a prayer and praise him with all your heart, God will come through for you.

5. God can accomplish much more through the actions of a person who is connected during the time of worship than someone who is connected and disassociated from the things he's working on.

6. One doesn't need to have outstanding talent, just an ardent love for God with a tune and a life that is given to God. There is a cost for being a Praise and Worshipper in the home of God. You have to be separated from the world and completely dedicated to your relationship with the Most High God.

7. The ability to sing can aid you in learning to sing, but it's the anointing that gives you the ability to enter into an intimate relationship with God. With so much emphasis on perfection and putting on the best show, many people do not get into the Holy of holies because they are too busy exaggerating to each other about how good they are. You cannot be awed by God by your skills because God is the one who gave it to you in the first place.

9. There are songs that encourage us to worship and songs that carry the presence of God. These are not the songs that you sing because they are in the "top 20". They are God inspired songs, not your own.

10. Miracles, signs and wonders start to occur within an environment which has been created through worship. Therefore, it is not just a prelude to preaching. It is ministering toward God as well. And when God is ministered to , He honors us by His presence.

In closing, I encourage you to be consistently constant in worship. Praise God at home and with your friends, or in you cell groups and it will soon become an incredibly powerful way of life. When you gather in church, what an awesome moment it will be.
